Wear with Trousers
Wear gladiators sandals with a pair of jeans. Ankle length gladiator sandals can be worn with a pair of skinny jeans for a casual and chic look. You can also wear ankle-length glad sandals with a pair of three-quarter trousers.
Wear with Short skirts
To create a really beautiful look, wear gladiator sandals with short skirts. You can wear the sandal with different types of short skirts (A-shape skirts, pleated skirts, Panel skirts, Flared skirts, pencil skirts etc). Gladiator sandals look bomb with short skirts. This is because short skirts give you room to show off your legs. With short skirts, you can choose to wear any length of glad sandals of choice. If you want to go simple, keep the length of your sandals to ankle length or mid-calf length. If you want to look dressy, wear the knee-length or thigh-high length variations of the glad sandals.
You can also wear gladiator sandals with a knee-length skirt. A knee-length skirt would look best when paired with an ankle-length glad sandal.
Wear with Maxi skirts
Gladiator sandals also look nice when worn with maxi skirts with slit. The slit can be a front slit or a side slit. I personally prefer maxi skirts with side slit. The slit creates an opening for your legs to show beautifully. Putting on a pair of glad sandals gives the skirt and your outfit, in general, a nicer effect or look. For maxi skirts, wear mid-calf length or knee-length sandals.
Wear with Shorts
Perhaps the easiest way to wear gladiator sandals is to wear them with shorts. Wearing shorts creates the much-needed leg space for putting on the sandals. Denim shorts, cotton shorts, Ankara shorts, and all manner of shorts look nice with gladiator sandals. To create a super chic look, wear your shorts with the knee-length variation of the sandals.
Wear with short dresses
Just like short skirts, gladiator sandals can be worn with short dresses. You can wear glad sandals with all manner of short dresses such as short ruffle dresses, short flared dresses, short A-shape dresses, short off-shoulder dresses, short denim dresses, shirt dresses, and so on. Depending on the look you want to create, you can pair short dresses with any length of gladiator sandals.
Wear with longer dresses
Gladiator sandals would also look nice if paired with long or maxi dresses. For a knee-length or three-quarter length billowy dress, wear an ankle-length glad sandal. You can also wear the pair of sandals with maxi dresses or flowing dresses with a front or a side slit. For flowing dresses with slit, wear a mid-calf length or knee-length pair of sandals.
Wear with dungarees
You can also wear a pair of gladiator sandals with a dungaree. The dungaree can be a denim dungaree, Ankara dungaree, cotton dungarees etcetera. The dungaree can either be a shorts dungaree or a skirt dungaree. Whichever type of dungaree it is, you want to keep the length short. Pair the dungaree with any length or type of gladiator sandal of choice.
Gladiator sandals with heels
To pair heeled gladiator with clothes, just follow the tips above. The only difference between heeled gladiators and flat-soled gladiators is the heel. The heel can be block heel or stiletto heels and can be of varying inches. The heeled gladiator also comes in varying strap widths and lengths (ankle lengths, mid-calf length etcetera). The occasion would determine whether or not to wear a heeled gladiator. You can wear the heeled gladiator to your workplace, to church, or even a party.
At the end of the day, whether you choose to wear a heeled gladiator or not, an embellished one or not, an ankle-length or thigh-high length, the important thing is that you look confident and feel beautiful. Do not be scared when choosing a pair of gladiator sandals, have fun, and style them in several ways. Just follow the tips above and you’d sure look bomb.
